Venkatesh Prabhu Kasthuri Raja

Born on July 28, 1983, Dhanush is an Indian actor, producer, director, lyricist, and playback singer who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. One of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema, he has won numerous awards including four National Film Awards and fourteen SIIMA Awards.

His journey began with "Thulluvadho Ilamai" in 2002, but it was "Kadhal Kondein" (2003) that marked his breakthrough. Since then, he has delivered numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films.

Beyond acting, Dhanush made his directorial debut with "Pa Paandi" (2017) and gained international recognition with his viral hit song "Why This Kolaveri Di" (2011).
